About
A Kansas developer who's been at this for a while.
David Eldridge
Founder, Kansas Web Works · Topeka, KS
I moved to Kansas in 1996. And I have lived in Topeka since 2003. This is where I've put down roots, and where I started building websites for small businesses and individuals that same year.
In 2006, I moved into professional web development full time, working for governmental organizations and private companies across Kansas. Since then, I've built everything from simple brochure sites, and worked on large, complex web applications.
Kansas Web Works is the result of that experience. I know what it takes to build a website that actually works, and I know that many small businesses are underserved by expensive agencies or left to struggle with DIY tools that produce mediocre results.
The people running those businesses are good at what they do. They don't need to become web developers. They just need someone they can trust to handle it. That's what I do.
When I need my car fixed, I go to my mechanic. When you need a website, come to me.
Mission
I want to remove the barriers that keep small businesses and people from having websites.
The web shouldn’t belong only to businesses with big budgets. A website should be as basic as a business card, and just as easy to get. I want to remove barriers to people and small businesses having websites, at a price that they can be happy with.
